Harry Styles gets tattoo, Taylor Swift comes along (Photo)

American sweetheart Taylor Swift recently spent time at a tattoo parlor -- but it appears it was only as a gesture of support for a special person.

The 23-year-old country and pop star recently accompanied her rumored boyfriend Harry Styles of the all-male pop group One Direction to the Shamrock Tattoo Parlor in Los Angeles, as seen in a Instagram photo that artist Freddy Negrete posted of the two, along with him and co-worker Isaiah Negrete.

As seen in the picture, published early on Wednesday, December 19, Styles, 18, received a tattoo of a pirate ship on his bicep. Swift did not appear to get inked herself. The two have been linked romantically for the past several weeks and have been photographed together in Los Angeles but have not confirmed a relationship.

"@harrystyles new tat and #taylorswift and me and @booboonegrete good times," Negrete wrote.

He told Us Weekly magazine: "Harry and Taylor seem to be very close friends. Taylor was enjoying her first experience in a tattoo shop while Harry got some new ink. They're great people, having a good time. Tattoos are always fun."

Zac Efron set to appear in historical JFK drama, 'Parkland'

Zac Efron is set to take part in an upcoming historical drama film about late president John F. Kennedy.

The 25-year-old actor is joining the cast of "Parkland," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The film, which is also set to feature the talents of Marcia Gay Harden, draws from author Vincent Bugliosi's novel, "Reclaiming History: The Assassination of President John F. Kennedy." The film is set to recount the true story of the chaotic events that occurred at Dallas' Parkland Hospital on the day that U.S. President John F. Kennedy was assassinated.

While Efron's exact character has yet to be identified, the producers at the helm are eager to have Efron as a part of their cast.

"Zac Efron continues to impress us with his recent shift into more dramatic roles which showcase his exceptional acting skills and Marcia Gay Harden is an unparalleled actress who gives tour de force performances in every film she appears," said Exclusive Media co-chairman Guy East and Nigel Sinclair in a statement obtained by the magazine. "We look forward to seeing their combined talent in Peter Landesman's powerful and mesmerizing story alongside the excellent cast already attached to this film."

The film is set to be produced by Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman's Playtone with Exclusive Media. The historical drama will be penned by journalist and novelist Peter Landesman, and the project marks the writer's directorial debut.

Efron had his breakthrough role in the 2006 Disney Channel movie "High School Musical" and went on to appear in two sequels with cast members Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale and Corbin Bleu. In recent years, Efton has played more mature parts, in drama films such as "Charlie St. Cloud" and "The Lucky One."

In the first movie, Efron played a heartbroken man able to see his deceased brother. When a new love interest is in trouble, he is forced to choose between saving a life or continuing to see his brother every day. The fantasy drama earned 12.3 million in its opening weekend.

The second film stars Efron as a Marine who survived three tours of duty in Iraq. In the film, his character credits his safety to a photograph of a woman he found while in Iraq and sets out to find out who she is. The movie grossed 22.5 million in its opening weekend.

'Oz The Great and Powerful' poster shows witch (Photo)

A new official poster for the new Disney film "Oz The Great and Powerful" has been released and shows what fans of the "Wizard of Oz" franchise have been expecting eagerly -- an image of a witch.

A spokesperson for the studio told OTRC.com on Wednesday, December 19, that the identity of the person, who sports green skin and a black, pointy hat and corset dress, will not be identified for now.

The movie stars James Franco as Oscar Diggs, a circus magician who takes a hot air balloon trip that is blown via a tornado from Kansas to Oz, where he becomes the magical land's new wizard. In Oz, he meets three witches -- Theodora, played by Mila Kunis, Evanora, played by Rachel Weisz and Glinda the Good Witch, played by Michelle Williams.

However, things are not as they seem and Franco's character must find out on his own who is actually good and who is evil. Meanwhile, the three witches are skeptical about him themselves.

Williams told reporters at Comic-Con in San Diego in July that she feels very lucky to be part of the cast of the half-animated, half-live action film, adding: "It's nice to put a little good back into the world. I think it really is, at its heart, a family movie."

The film also features Zach Braff, Abigail Spencer and "Evil Dead" actor Bruce Campbell, who has often worked with Sam Raimi, the director of "Oz The Great and Powerful."

"Oz: The Great and Powerful" is set for release on March 8, 2013. Check out the trailer for the film and interviews with Kunis and Franco below.
