Junior Bradshaw, 30, and 33-year-old Kevin Liverpool were arrested Monday morning near Stone's house in the town of Cullompton, 175 miles (280 kilometers) southwest of London, after residents reported a suspicious-looking vehicle.
They appeared Thursday at Exeter Magistrates' Court in southwest England on charges of conspiracy to rob and conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm.
Prosecutor Ann Hampshire told the court that items including the sword and notes relating to Stone had been found in the suspects' car.The defendants spoke only to confirm their identities and were ordered detained until their next hearing on July 1. No members of Stone's family were in court.
The 24-year-old singer, who is due to start a European tour next month, said in a statement that she was "absolutely fine and getting on with life as normal."
(Copyright ©2011 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.)Britney Spears is set to begin her highly-anticipated tour to promote her new album "Femme Fatale."
Hip hop star Nicki Minaj is joining her on the road and the first concert takes place in Sacramento, California on Thursday, June 16. Spears plans to perform in North America first, then head over to Europe in September.
"Can't believe tour starts tmrw tweople!" Spears Tweeted on Wednesday. "So ready to take my femmes on the road & see y'all again... I've missed u! Ready @NickiMinaj? -Brit"
"@britneyspears born ready Brit!" Minaj replied on Thursday. "Time to give the kidz what they've been waitin for.... FemmeFataleTour."
"Femme Fatale," Spears' seventh major record, was released in March and hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart. Spears featured Minaj and pop singer Ke$ha on a remix of her single "Till the World Ends," which was released in late April.
"This is the Femme Fatale tour and I'm thrilled to have Nicki Minaj, Jessie and the ToyBoys, and Nervo join me and get everyone on the dance floor," Spears had said in a statement on April 12. "Can't wait to take the Femme Fatales on the road."
Jessie and the ToyBoys is headed by electronic pop singer Jessie Malakouti. Nervo is made up of electronic dance singer-songwriters and twins Miriam and Olivia Nervo.
The concept of the tour is "femme fatales throughout the years," People quoted director Jamie King as saying.
Zaldy Goco, who designed Spears' costumes, told the magazine that the singer plans to wear several outfits during the shows - including a snake charmer get-up, a kimono, a mirrored gold jacket, a purple leather jacket covered with pink chrome studs, safety pins, spikes and chains and a "daring black Swarovski crystal-covered closing number outfit, which illuminates with LED lights and animates fire and lightening."
Spears rose to fame as a teen star and has become a tabloid favorite, especially after she suffered a meltdown in 2007. She and Kevin Federline, father of her two sons, divorced and Spears spent many months partying. She then underwent a rehab stint for substance abuse and famously shaved her own head at a salon (see video). Her turmoil made international headlines and inspired Barry Manilow's latest album, "15 Minutes."
Spears made a comeback in 2009 with her "Circus" tour. The series of concerts grossed $131.8 million dollars and was the fifth most successful series of concerts in the world. Madonna, who once collaborated with Spears, came in at No. 4 with $137.7 million.

Kim Kardashian's sister Khloe has already called her a bridezilla but the reality star is just getting started with her wedding preparations and has rounded up an extravagant wedding registry for the occasion.
Kim Kardashian, 30, announced her engagement to NBA player Kris Humphries, 26, in May and has since registered for gifts at Gearys, a Beverly Hills luxury store and at houseware retailer Williams-Sonoma.
People magazine reported that the gifts include a $7,500 Baccarat Cosmos vase, Hermes presentation plates which cost $304 each, a $325 nude black resting statue by Lalique.
The Geary's registry also includes 24 five-piece silverware sets, which cost $1,600 each and a $1,650 silver-plated coffeepot.
According to the Gearys registry, the couple plans to get married on Monday, October 31, but according to E! News, the couple will not be tying the knot on Halloween.
Kim Kardashian and Humphries began dating in December 2010 and the basketball player proposed in May with a $1 million, 20.5 carat engagement ring.
Humphries, who plays for the New Jersey Nets, will be the second NBA player to join the family since Khloe married Los Angeles Lakers star Lamar Odom in 2009. But while Khloe's wedding came together in just 9 days of planning, she predicts that her sister will "go big."
"Kim goes big. It's not going to be small. And I joke and I say it will be like the Royal Wedding, because she is just like that," Khloe Kardashian told People earlier in the month. "I don't want to help because Kim is going to be such a bridezilla! If I do one thing wrong, I'll be screwed! But I would love to be in the wedding."
Kim Kardashian's engagement and wedding will be seen on the new season of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," which premiered on June 12 on the E! entertainment network.
The wedding date has not yet been announced. This will be the second marriage for Kim Kardashian. She and music producer Damon Thomas wed in 2000, when she was 19 years old. The two divorced in 2004.

Steven Spielberg, who directed the first two films, has met at least twice with screenwriter Mark Protosevich to "kick around ideas for how to re-boot the Jurassic Park franchise," the Hollywood Reporter said recently.
However, Spielberg's representatives and Universal Studios have said discussions about a fourth movie have been "purely exploratory," the publication added.
The original 1993 movie starred Jeff Goldblum, Laura Dern and Sam Neill and is based on the novel by Michael Crichton. It tells of a group of scientists who visit an island amusement park with cloned dinosaurs. When the more ferocious ones escape and run loose, hijinks ensue."Jurassic Park" earned more than $914 million worldwide. Its 1997 sequel made $618 million and a third movie, which was released in 2001 and featured Spielberg as its executive producer, earned $368 million in global box office sales. The franchise was adapted into a ride at Universal Studios' amusement parks in Florida and California.
Spielberg is also known for other well-known adventure and sci-fi movies such as "E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial" and the "Indiana Jones" franchise and also produced "Super 8," which was released last week.
(Copyright ©2011 OnTheRedCarpet.com. All Rights Reserved.)Ryan Reynolds has a lot to be excited for with his major action flick "Green Lantern" hitting theaters on Friday, but the actor is especially enthusiastic about the existence of Green Lantern pajamas.
"Green Lantern" is based on the DC Comic book that follows fighter pilot Hal Jordan (Reynolds), who becomes the first human inducted into the Green Lantern Corps., a brotherhood of warriors sworn to keep intergalactic order.
Each Green Lantern wears a ring that gives him superpowers. The Green Lanterns come together to fight a new enemy called Parallax and with the help of his fellow pilot and childhood sweetheart Carol Ferris (Blake Lively), Jordan overcomes his fear to join the fight.
"The pajamas," Reynolds told OnTheRedCarpet.com special correspondent George Pennacchio of KABC Television, when asked about his favorite product based on the movie. "We all need a good onesie."
"They're probably making 'Green Lantern' hubcaps for all I know," he added. "They do a lot of that cross-promotional stuff, the action figures and all that stuff is what's interesting to me because nowadays, they can actually make the action figures look like the actor in the film. So I saw my action figure and was like 'that looks just like me!'"
Reynolds was not forced to give up his sense of humor in order to be an action star and told OnTheRedCarpet.com that it was necessary to balance the "heavy issues" with a sense of humor.
"This isn't 'The Dark Knight,' this is a movie that is meant to be slightly aware of itself, you know and you can have a little bit of fun with that genre," he said. "We just found when you're dealing with such heavy issues as this - will and overcoming fear and saving the universe and all that kind of stuff, you want to inject a kind of fun into that in order to even things out."
"This movie is more about overcoming fear than having an absence of fear," Reynolds added. "It's more about courage, which is the very definition of overcoming fear. But I definitely have moments where I get a little boxed-in or something, I might feel a little bit of that, but I also realize that I'm in a very, very privileged position, that I get to do what I do and do what I love and it's all worth it, everything, all of it."
Reynolds and Lively filmed "Green Lantern" last year. He told OnTheRedCarpet.com at the 2010 Comic Con event in San Diego, California that shooting the movie was "the weirdest experience ever," mostly because his character's costume is half-virtual.
"You have to have a lot of faith in these artists, who are nothing short of magicians behind the scenes, who are creating this world for you," Reynolds said. "But they come down and give you references, they come down from their little cave upstairs where they're creating these worlds and they go 'okay, here's what you're looking at to your left, to your right, here's what's in front of you, here's what's behind you, here's what's flying by you.' You just have to use your imagination and just say 'okay, I'm in.'"
Reynolds played Wade Wilson, aka Deadpool, in the film "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" alongside Hugh Jackman in 2009 and the title character in the 2002 comedy film "Van Wilder," which starred Tara Reid. He also starred in the sitcom "Two Guys and a Girl" from 1998 to 2001.
Reynolds began his on-screen career on Canadian television, starring in shows such as the teen soap opera "Hillside," also called "Fifteen," in 1990 and the sci-fi teen series "The Odyssey."
In December, Reynolds divorced actress Scarlett Johansson after two years of marriage.

Harris, who is 25 and appears on the cover of the nude magazine's July 11 issue, and the 85-year-old Playboy founder were supposed to marry on June 18. Harris said on Tuesday that she had decided to end their engagement.
Hefner, who has dated and lived with Playboy models for decades, said Harris and her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Charlie, left the Playboy Mansion. He called their split "a heart breaker."
Hefner said on his Twitter page that his second wife, Playboy Playmate Kimberley Conrad and her mother "came by to lend their emotional support."
Hefner and Conrad wed in 1989 and divorced in March 2010. They have two sons - Marston, 21, and Cooper, 20.
"Marston won tonight's domino game with Shera Bechard, Cristal Camden, Ashley Hobbs, Jennifer Pershing, Anna Sophia Berglund & me," Hefner said on Tuesday after announcing his split from Harris.
Hefner also said Bridget Marquardt, who starred on his E! reality show "The Girls Next Door," also visited him.
Harris and Hefner's ex-girlfriends Holly Madison and Kendra Wilkinson have also appeared on the series.
"Wish I was there to support, too!" Madison, who is performing in a stage show in Las Vegas, said on her Twitter page and reposted a message from Wilkinson that read: "@hughhefner we r comin over w some jack n coke... oh n a pipe lol."
Tuesday also marked the day Harris' debut single, "Club Queen," was released online.
"Omg @CrystalHarris left @hughhefner the day her single came out on iTunes," Twitter user LinzLuvs said on Tuesday in a message Hefner reposted on his own page. "Coincidence? I think not."
Hefner also said on his Twitter page that he hoped "Club Queen" was a hit.
Harris and Hefner became engaged in December 2010 and have been linked together for about two years. Hefner and his first wife, Mildred Williams, were married between 1949 and 1959 and are parents to Christie and David, who are in their 50s.
Harris' Playboy cover is still set to run as it when the magazine's July 2011 issue is released on Friday, even though it features the words "Mrs. Crystal Hefner," People magazine reported. However, the cable network Lifetime has canceled plans to air a special called "Marrying Hef" that features her, the Hollywood Reporter said.

Harris, who is 25 and appears on the cover of the nude magazine's July issue, and the 85-year-old Playboy founder were supposed to marry on June 18. Harris said on Tuesday that she had decided to end their engagement. On Wednesday, she went on Ryan Seacrest's radio show to clear up rumors and talk about the real reasons she canceled the wedding.
"It was mutual between Hef and I," Harris told Seacrest. "There was no fight, we sat down and we talked about it... for a while I've been having second thoughts about everything. I haven't really been at peace with myself lately. I didn't think it was really fair to him."
Harris and Hefner became engaged in December 2010 and have been linked together for about two years. Hefner, who has dated and lived with Playboy models for decades, said Harris and her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Charlie, had left the Playboy Mansion.
Hefner has been married twice before and Harris said that he was planning the wedding for her sake but that his wild lifestyle was not necessarily what she imagined for her future.
"Hef's lifestyle isn't the most normal lifestyle," Harris said. "Multiple girls all around, it's not the lifestyle I wanted."
Hefner's ex-girlfriends have said in media reports and in books that the Playboy founder engages in group sex with Playmates regularly. He has not confirmed their stories.
Hefner and his second wife, Playboy Playmate Kimberley Conrad wed in 1989 and divorced in March 2010. They have two sons - Marston, 21, and Cooper, 20.
Hefner said that Conrad and his ex-girlfriend Bridget Marquardt, who starred on his E! reality show "The Girls Next Door," had visited him following the break-up. Harris and Hefner's ex-girlfriends Holly Madison and Kendra Wilkinson have also appeared on the series.
Hefner and his first wife, Mildred Williams, were married between 1949 and 1959 and are parents to Christie and David, who are in their 50s.

The home, which was known as "The Manor," had a listing price of $150 million and has been on the market since 2009, according to the Wall Street Journal. The final purchase amount has yet to be reported. See photos of the property.
The buyer is Petra Ecclestone, the daughter of Formula One president and CEO Bernie Ecclestone. She is a fashion designer who launched the now defunct menswear label FORM in 2008. Petra and her sister Tamara (pictured above) were born to Ecclestone and Croatian model Slavica Radic, who is 28-years younger and 11.5 inches taller than the Formula One billionaire. The couple divorced in 2009.
Petra also owns a six-story home in London's Chelsea district, which was purchased for a reported $90.9 million. The heiress is engaged to businessman James Stunt and plans to split her time between London and Los Angeles leading up to their August wedding.
Candy Spelling, who owned the property had no immediate comment on the sale. In December 2010, she announced plans to downsize and sold a 15,555-square-foot condominium in Century City for $35 million.
Aaron Spelling, who died in 2006 at age 83, produced TV shows like "Mod Squad," "Charlie's Angels," "Dynasty," "Starsky and Hutch," "Beverly Hills, 90210" and "Melrose Place." His daughter Tori's appearance in "90201" launched her acting career.
Tori Spelling, who is pregnant with her third child, was in a car accident on June 13 while allegedly trying to get away from paparazzi. She currently stars in the reality series, "Tori & Dean: sTORIbook Weddings" with her husband Dean McDermott.
The Spellings bought the property in the 1980s and after tearing down the existing home, rebuilt the mansion in 1991. It was considered the largest residence in Los Angeles county by far at the time.

Joshua Jackson ("Fringe") and Melissa McCarthy ("Mike & Molly") have been chosen to announce the 2011 Primetime Emmy Award nominations.
Jackson and McCarthy will join John Shaffner, chairman of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, to make the announcement on Thursday, July 14 at 5:40 a.m. PT, the group said in a statement posted on its website.
Jackson plays Peter Bishop on Fox's Sci-Fi mystery series "Fringe." He is perhaps best known for his role as Pacey Witter in the popular '90s series "Dawson's Creek," which also starred Katie Holmes, Michelle Williams and James Van Der Beek. The actor will also star in the upcoming movie "Lay the Favorite" opposite Bruce Willis and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
McCarthy stars on CBS' No. 1 new comedy series "Mike & Molly" and recently appeared opposite Kristen Wiig in the comedy feature "Bridesmaids." She also played Sookie St. James on the popular WB series "Gilmore Girls" and Dena on the sitcom "Samantha Who?"
Jane Lynch, who is best known for her role as Sue Sylvester on the FOX musical comedy "Glee," will host the awards ceremony.
"I am tickled pink to be hosting the Primetime Emmys on Fox," Lynch said in a statement provided by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. "I'm looking forward to singing, dancing and sporting my finest tracksuit."
Lynch won the "Best Supporting Actress" Emmy last year for her portrayal of Sylvester, a snarky cheerleading coach, in "Glee." She was previously nominated for her guest spot on CBS' "Two and a Half Men." Lynch also took home a Golden Globe award this year for her role on "Glee."
"Jane was my first - and only - choice as the host for this year's Primetime Emmys, and I am glad she said 'yes,'" said first-time Emmys executive producer Mark Burnett. "She has incredible comedic timing, and is a charismatic, talented actress whose energy leaps off the screen and stage. I am thrilled and excited to have her as our host."
Lynch's Emmys gig will mark the third time a woman has hosted the ceremony alone. Ellen DeGeneres did the honors in 2005 and Angela Lansbury hosted in 1993.
The 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards will air live on Sunday, September 18 at 8 p.m. ET on FOX from L.A. Live's Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
(Copyright ©2011 OnTheRedCarpet.com. Isaac says, according to the website AllHipHop.com, that he was paid $2,500 by Rosemond to shoot and rob Shakur.
Shakur was hit five times in the shooting at the Quad Studios in Manhattan in 1994. He survived but was later gunned down in Las Vegas in a slaying that remains unsolved.
The mystery surrounding Shakur's death has fueled interest in the smallest of details about his life, as well as the old-school feud between East Coast and West Coast rap that some say contributed to his killing.Isaac stole jewelry off Shakur and handed over a diamond ring to Rosemond after the late-night ambush, the post published Wednesday reads.
"I still have the chain that we took that night," he wrote, according to the post.
New York City police were investigating the claims, though it's not clear if anyone would face charges, in part because the incident occurred about 17 years ago. Rosemond is wanted by federal authorities in New York on drug charges and as of Thursday remained a fugitive.
Erin Mulvey, a spokeswoman for the Drug Enforcement Administration, refused to comment on Isaac and would not give any details on Rosemond.
His lawyer, Jeffrey Lichtman, could not comment about the federal case against his client. But he said the accusations posted online were lies fabricated because Isaac is upset he was outed as a government informant.
"This is a guy who is a blood-thirsty killer, trying to work off a life sentence, and for some reason his accusations are taken as fact?" Lichtman asked.
The post is rife with bitterness directed at Rosemond.
"Now I would like to clear up a few things, because the statute of limitations is over, and no one can be charged, and I'm just plain tired of listening to your lies," according to the post.
Isaac was convicted in the 1997 murder-for-hire shooting death of cab driver Waleed Hammouda. The victim's wife, Micheline, offered Isaac property in exchange for killing her husband. She was also convicted.
He is serving life in prison and was transferred earlier this year to the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn from a prison in Colorado.
An employee at the Brooklyn detention center said inmates were not allowed to receive calls and were allowed only approved in-person visits. In order to be approved, a person must first write to the inmate and receive a visitor form.
It wasn't clear whether Isaac still had a lawyer, and a call to the website wasn't returned.

In this image released by The Martha Stewart Show, Martha Stewart stands by a table set for 50 guests at her home in Bedford, N.Y. The woman who created her own media empire - television, magazines and more - is getting a biographical treatment in her own comic book next month.
"Female Force: Martha Stewart," a one-shot issue from Bluewater Productions Inc. to be sold in comic book shops, bookstores and online, will focus on how Stewart rose to become of the nation's best-known purveyors of home decor, cooking and confident but practical living.
It's the latest in a line of titles from the Vancouver, Wash.-based publisher, with previous subjects in the "Female Force" family of titles focusing on Hillary Rodham Clinton, Michelle Obama, Barbara Walters, Sarah Palin and Margaret Thatcher, among others.Publisher Darren G. Davis said the comic, written by C.W. Cooke, will look at all sides of Stewart, including her rapport with fans as well as her conviction on insider trading.
"Our goal is to show the behind-the scenes machinations - many of them ignored by the mainstream media - that resulted in Martha Stewart becoming the phenomenon she is," he said.
A comic book, he said, was the perfect way to do that.
"A visual medium provides perspective that is not only accessible but more relatable to the average person without losing any of the information involved," Davis said.
Cooke said he wrote the issue because Stewart embodies the "American Dream" and "sounds like a superhero," too.
"I am writing Martha Stewart as both icon and from a perspective of someone who might see her as callous, calculating and scheming," he said.
Cooke notes that in addition to being a businesswoman, entrepreneur and famous brand name, Stewart has been a model and a small business owner.
"She's been to jail and she's come out unscathed," he said. "She sounds like a superhero, but really, Martha is an amazing human being and I hope readers love learning about her as much as I did."

Handler, 36, is set to play the mother of Justice's character. In the film a teenage girl (Justice) is forced to take her younger brother trick-or-treating but loses him in the process.
Justice, 18, is the star of the TV series "Victorious" and has also had roles on "Zoey 101" and "Spectacular!" The film will be the directorial debut of "The O.C." and "Gossip Girl" creator Josh Schwartz, the industry paper reports.
Handler is currently promoting her fourth book, "Lies That Chelsea Handler Told Me" which is a compilation of stories written by her "victims" about the notorious prankster's various "lies."
"Lies" follows Handler's other best-selling books, "My Horizontal Life: A Collection of One-Night Stands," "Are You There Vodka? It's Me Chelsea" and "Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang." Last year, Handler's first three books occupied the top three positions on the New York Times best-seller list for a period of time.
Her memoir "Are You There Vodka? It's Me Chelsea" was optioned into a TV series starring "That 70's Show" actress Laura Prepon as "Chelsea Hanson" and Handler will play her older sister "Sloane Hanson." The show is set to air on NBC in the fall.
Handler began her career as a comedian, appearing regularly on the series "Girls Behaving Badly." In 2007, E! picked up "Chelsea Lately," which has averaged over half a million viewers since its premiere. Her spin-off show, "After Lately," which shows the cast of comedians and writers behind the scenes, was recently renewed for a second season.
Case in point: The latest comic book to come to life is the Green Lantern.

Prince Harry may return to Afghanistan as an Apache attack helicopter pilot after completing his military training, reports say.
The 26-year-old, who is the younger brother of the United Kingdom's Prince William, served with the British military in the war-torn country for several weeks, starting in late 2007. He was ordered to withdraw after the press reported of his deployment, which sparked fears that he could become a targeted by pro-Taliban insurgents. Harry has said he hopes to return to the front lines in Afghanistan
He completed an eight-month helicopter training course that began in July 2010. The prince is now undergoing "conversion to role" training, which is set to end in seven months, the UK newspaper the Guardian reported on Thursday, June 16.
"Harry is an army pilot and will deploy wherever the army chooses to send him," the news outlet quoted a spokesperson for Clarence House, the official residence of The Prince of Wales, as saying, "His course finishes in 2012 and after that his deployment will be a matter for the army chain of command."
The UK Ministry of Defense has not commented publicly. The Telegraph said Harry would fly an attack helicopter in operations rather than serve as a frontline junior officer with the Household Cavalry. The Guardian reported that Harry had during his previous stint in Afghanistan served as a forward air controller, directing jets bombing Taliban positions in Helmand province.
Last year, a documentary called "The Taking of Prince Harry" aired on the UK's Channel 4. It depicted a fictionalized story of what could happen if Harry were taken prisoner while serving his military service in Afghanistan.
It was met with criticism by many news outlets, including the Telegraph, which said it could be used as a "major propaganda tool by the Taliban" and called the decision to air it "deeply unpatriotic."
(Copyright ©2011 OnTheRedCarpet.com. All Rights Reserved.)Rapper Kanye West is reportedly "deeply disappointed" that a "bogus" version of his "Mama's Boy," also known as "Mama's Boyfriend," track was leaked on the internet Wednesday.
The rapper released a statement through his record label, Def Jam, late Wednesday, according to The Hollywood Reporter, which reads "The version of the Kanye West recording 'Mama's Boy' that arrived on blog sites earlier this week is entirely bogus and unsanctioned, and violates the artist's creative intentions."
According to the statement, the vocals heard on the leaked track do belong to Kanye, however, the music heard along with it were added by someone else. "An unknown party or parties got a hold of Kanye West's vocal track and added their own soundbed to it, effectively and falsely releasing it as a Kanye West track from the My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy sessions," the statement said.
The statement continues, "The result in no way resembles the final song Kanye West intended his fans to hear, and he is deeply disappointed that one of the most personal, meaningful and special songs he has ever written would reach people in this way."
West performed the song live in July for Facebook employees at their headquarters in Palo Alto, California.
Before his performance, the rapper said, "It took me 32 years of my life to write it."
The rapper had a close relationship with his late mother Donda West, who died in 2007 of complications from cosmetic surgery. In 2009, then California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger passed the "Donda West Law." According to the Los Angeles Times, the law "prohibits elective cosmetic surgery unless the patient first is cleared by a physical examination."

(Copyright ©2011 OnTheRedCarpet.com. All Rights Reserved.)Rita Wilson, the actress-wife of Tom Hanks, has been named editor-at-large of "Huff/Post 40," the Huffington Post's new website aimed at the baby boomer generation.
AOL Huffington Post Media Group President and editor-in-chief Arianna Huffington made the announcement on Thursday, adding that Wilson's passion and humor make her the "perfect godmother" for the site, according to the Associated Press.
Huffington said that her and Wilson's Greek heritage set them up to place value on the aging process. The new site will be "both about news and about people sharing their own experiences about that stage in life."
The website is set to launch in August and Wilson will direct its vision and contact and also came up with the site's name, "Huff/Post 40."
"It's important to cover this with a sense of joy about this age... that's another thing that's often missing from the writing about this stage of life," Huffington said. "You worry about approval less - you're more clear about who you are - all those things are so liberating... It's an age where you can look less at the past and more into the future."
The 54-year-old actress has written editorial pieces on style and health for O, The Oprah Magazine and Harper's Bazaar, where she has been a contributing editor since 2006.
"Issues related to being over forty have always intrigued me," Wilson said in a press release. "My mom and dad always used to say, 'life begins at forty.' The idea that we boomers are somehow supposed to wind things down as we get older has completely escaped me. The Over 40s I have met are some of the most interesting, vibrant, curious, courageous, sexy, energetic people I know. Exploring the minds and hearts of this group of people is exciting. It's never too late to mix things up, change your life, to get to what you really should be doing - or want to be doing. As Mark Twain said, 'Age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter.' I can't wait to get started."
Huffington has said she is not worried about Wilson's limited editorial experience, and said the actress is "a wonderful writer herself and she has a clear sense of what the theme of the site will be."
The website is currently filling the other top editorial positions and the media mogul plans on expanding the Huffington empire with Huffington Post France, Huffington Post UK, which launches on July 6 and Huffington Post Canada, which launched last month.
Wilson has starred in romantic drama films such as "Sleepless in Seattle" with Hanks in 1993 and "Runaway Bride" alongside Julia Roberts and Richard Gere in 1999. She also appeared in the 2009 film "It's Complicated", which starred Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin.
Wilson will next appear in "The Art of Getting By," which stars Emma Roberts and Eddie Highmore and hits theaters on June 17.

The dress - made of layers of Argentinian beef - was kept in a meat locker, placed in a vat of chemicals and then dried out by taxidermists in California before being transported to the museum.
Hall of Fame spokeswoman Margaret Thresher says the dress took on a "dark, beef-jerky" look while dehydrating, so it was painted to look "fresh" afterwards. The entire process took several months to complete. The dress is being displayed as part of the "Women Who Rock: Vision, Passion, Power" exhibit, which runs until February 2012.

"That is absolutely not true," James told People magazine. "We're still going strong. Things are completely good with us."
The 42-year-old motorcycle customizer and former host of the Discovery Channel series "Monster Garage," became engaged to tattoo artist and "LA Ink" reality star Kat Von D in January, less than a year after his split from actress Sandra Bullock.
Von D responded to the "silly" rumors on her Twitter account and told People that a breakup is "the furthest thing from the truth.
James announced that the couple plans to wed in the summer on the one-year anniversary of their first date.
"Everything is on track," James said. "I am absolutely more in love today than I was a year ago. She's the one for me."
The couple regularly commutes between Los Angeles and James' home in Austin, Texas. James wrote on his Twitter account on Thursday that he was going to sleep early in order to "jump on a plane and spend the weekend with my Angel."
James has been married three times and has three children from previous relationships. He has talked about his love life in various press interviews to promote his recent memoir, "American Outlaw."
James and Bullock, 46, married in 2005. The two split in March 2010 amid reports James had been unfaithful, especially with a tattoo model named Michelle "Bombshell" McGee," which he later confirmed. James and Bullock finalized their divorce that June. James told Stern that Von D contacted him last year after he was "persecuted by the media."
"Through all of that, one person reached out to me and sent me a text one night and said, 'Hey, you know, something tells me that your heart was hurting and I want to make sure my friend was okay,'" James said. "We got together and decided, let's meet for dinner. There was definitely a spark and I couldn't wait to see her again."
Von D has said she does not mind critics of her relationship with James and told OnTheRedCarpet.com after the two stepped out together in September: "People are going to say whatever they're going to say. They've criticized every relationship I've ever been in."
Months after the divorce, James closed up his West Coast Choppers motorcycle shop in Southern California, where he had lived with Bullock, and moved permanently to Texas with his three children.
Von D runs a tattoo parlor in Los Angeles but James says that she plans on moving to his compound outside of Austin eventually and in the meantime, he's building her a studio on the property.
Bullock lives in New Orleans with her adopted son Louis, who the couple brought home in January 2010. After their split, she announced she would raise him as a single parent.

The video, which had over 167 million views, according to AOL-owned technology blog TechCrunch, had been put up as a YouTube rental earlier in the week for $2.99 by the ARK Music Factory, an independent Los Angeles-based company that produced the video and song.
Black made mention of her video's status as a rental on her official Twitter page on Tuesday, writing, "Thanks for all the messages regarding the $2.99 fee added to Friday video, I have NOTHING to do with this!!"
The 13-year-old later added, "PS...My Manager and Lawyer are on this and are going to get to the bottom of this! Stay tuned..."
The company issued a statement to TechCrunch when asked about the matter which said, "YouTube takes copyright infringement very seriously. When we receive a complaint alleging that a video infringes another person or company's copyrights, we remove that video. Users who believe that a video was removed in error can appeal the copyright takedown."
Black's "Friday" track was covered by cast members of the hit FOX series "Glee" on an episode on May 10. The song was also covered by Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon, The Roots and former "American Idol" winner Taylor Hicks on "The Late Show with Jimmy Fallon" in April.

The 45-year-old actor filed his lawsuit in March, days after he was axed from the hit CBS comedy series following a slew of erratic on-air ramblings against the show's producers and co-creator Chuck Lorre. During his rants, Sheen coined what would become catchphrases among his fans, namely "Duh, winning!" and "Tiger Blood."
"The court made the appropriate ruling in denying Mr. Sheen's request to stay the arbitration in referring his lawsuit against Warner Bros. and Chuck Lorre to arbitration as his contract calls for," Lorre's lawyer said in a statement to OnTheRedCarpet.com on Wednesday. " This matter will now proceed in an orderly fashion as the parties agreed to."
Sheen's lawyer said: "The papers to be submitted to the arbitrator will be the same as the ones that have been submitted to the court. They will be given to the arbitrator within a few days, and we expect him to make a decision hopefully in the next couple of weeks."
Lorre and the program's production company, Warner Bros., were ordered by the court to file a status report of the proceedings before the arbitrator on or before Nov. 30. and the case is set to be reviewed two days later, according to legal documents obtained by OnTheRedCarpet.com.
Production on "Two and a Half Men" was suspended in January after Sheen underwent rehab for drug and alcohol addiction and halted in February after he insulted Lorre during a radio interview.
Sheen had said in subsequent interviews that he was sober. Warner Bros. Television said in its firing letter that the actor had "been engaged in dangerously self-destructive conduct and appears to be very ill." Sheen called his firing "illegal."
He said in his lawsuit that Lorre humiliated, harassed and disparaged him publicly and that "Warner Bros. capitulated to Lorre's egotistical desire to punish Mr. Sheen and to stop work on the series for the rest of the season."
He also says Lorre "unilaterally" decided to stop writing scripts for the show in mid-February, weeks after production was suspended following Sheen's rehab stint.
Lorre's lawyer said Sheen's allegations against his client were "recklessly false." Sheen also says that Warner Bros. and Lorre made more than $1 billion off of him, the cast and crew rendering services on the show. Sheen, formerly the highest-paid actor on television, reportedly earned $1.25 million for each episode.
"Can you smell the carnage you created?" Sheen said to Lorre in a webcast that was posted online on the day after his firing. "Can you smell it, Chuck? It smells like malaria. If 'Sad' and 'Stupid' had a foul odor attached, it would be you, (expletive) Borre. You gotta hate that your stage name rhymes with 'Suck.' You picked a fight with a warlock, you little worm."
"Two and a Half Men" premiered in 2003. Sheen played party-loving womanizer Charlie Harper and Jon Cryer was cast as his character's straight-edge brother. Ashton Kutcher was cast on the show in May - which he compared to winning the lottery. The fate of Sheen's character remains unclear.

"My poor baby girl noodles is sick," the singer and actress wrote on Twitter on June 14. "She had a seizure & they don't know why I'm taking her to see a specialist 2 hours away for a brain scan."
"Noodles is not going to make it," she later updated her followers on Wednesday. "She was born with a brain defect and i have to put her to sleep today im devastated. i just cant believe it."
When asked by a follower if putting the dog to sleep was necessary, Osbourne wrote, "she was not in peace; her brain was swelling in her head. I DON'T PLAY GOD! it was an unfortunate necessary!"
Osbourne first welcomed Noodles in March 2011 and introduced the puppy in a Tweet that read, "this is my new dog noodles aka noody bear."
This is the second dog Osbourne has lost within a year. Last July, shortly after she broke things off with former fiance Luke Worrall, her Pomeranian puppy Woody died.

After 10 seasons on air, Tom Welling bid goodbye to audiences as Clark Kent one last time on the "Smallville" finale on May 13. However, the actor might be up for more Kent adventures if a movie based on his "Smallville" role ever came about.
Welling spoke to OnTheRedCarpet.com host Chris Balish on Monday at the 2nd Annual SAG Foundation Golf Classic about his experience on "Smallville" saying, "I can't imagine anything beyond family that could have such an effect on a career as 'Smallville' did for me. It's why I'm here."
The actor also revealed that an idea for a "Smallville" movie had been tossed around in the earlier seasons of the show. "We talked about that between, I think it was season three and four, when the characters were moving from high school to what will be college," Welling said when asked about a "Smallville" film. "We played with the idea and what we found was there wasn't time."
He added, "It would've been fun to do a transition movie for those characters. But who knows in the future."
So if a new opportunity for a "Smallvile" movie came up, would the actor take it? "Sure, I don't see why not," Welling said.
As for Clark Kent/Superman, Warner Bros. has big plans for the comic book superhero. The movie studio is currently developing a reboot of the film franchise with "300" director Zack Snyder helming the project. The film will star Amy Adams as Lois Lane and "The Tudors" actor Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman.
Diane Lane and Kevin Costner have also signed on to play Ma and Pa Kent. "The Dark Knight" director, Christopher Nolan, is also a part of the "Superman" reboot. He and his "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight" writing partner, David S. Goyer, are penning the script for the new film. Nolan is also on board as a producer.
"They have other plans for Superman, which I'm a big fan of and I can't wait to see what they do," Welling said.

Actress Angelina Jolie arrives for the 81st Academy Awards Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009, in the Hollywood section of Los Angeles. (AP Photo/Matt Sayles) The Hollywood celebrity and goodwill ambassador for the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees arrived in the Turkish province of Hatay on a private jet with boxes of toys for the refugee camps.
Jolie spent two-and-a-half hours with the refugees, asking how they were in Arabic and then speaking with them through an interpreter, Turkey's NTV television reported. It said she took notes, showing particular interest in the women and children.
Nearly 10,000 Syrians have sought refuge in camps in Turkey.Protests first erupted in Syria in mid-March as part of the "Arab Spring" push toward democracy. Syrian President Bashar Assad responded by unleashing the military to crush the street demonstrations. Human rights activists say more than 1,400 Syrians have been killed and 10,000 detained.
Turkish television showed Jolie disembarking from the plane in sunglasses at Hatay airport. She then headed to a camp in the Turkish town of Altinozu.
Turkish authorities hoisted a 45-foot-long (15-meter) banner near the entrance of the refugee camp to welcome Jolie. It read: "Goodness Angel of the World, Welcome" in English and Turkish.
Police kept fans away from the actress at Hatay's airport and cameras were removed from rooftops and high points.
One fan held a poster that read: "Angelina, kiss me for world peace."
In April, Jolie traveled to Tunisia during its refugee crisis as thousands fled from its war-torn neighbor, Libya.

The record features 10 songs and its title and release date has not yet been made public.
"We are proud to announce that Lou has just completed recording a full length album in collaboration with heavy metal band, Metallica!" a recent message on Reed's website, titled "Loutallica," said.
"Ever since Lou had the pleasure of performing with Lars, James, Kirk and Robert at the 25th anniversary of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at Madison Square Garden in October of 2009, they have been discussing the possibility of making a record together," the message added. "They have finally realized this dream and have spent the past month recording at Metallica's HQ studio outside San Francisco."
Reed, 69, told Rolling Stone magazine that the collaboration was "A marriage made in heaven," adding: "I knew it from the first day we played together: 'Oh, man, this is perfection, right in front of me.'"
The American singer and the band are "putting the finishing touches on the album now," the message on Reed's website said. Rolling Stone said he composed the songs, which contain "significant arrangement contributions" from Metallica "that suggest a raging union of his 1973 noir classic, 'Berlin,' and Metallica's '86 crusher, 'Master of Puppets.'"
Metallica, made up of James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo, rose to fame in the 1980s and the group's commercial hits include "Enter Sandman," "Master of Puppets" and "Nothing Else Matters." Reed was once part of the rock group The Velvet Underground and started to become famous in the 1970s with solo songs such as ""Walk on the Wild Side" and "Perfect Day."
"While at this moment we're not exactly sure when you'll hear it, we're beyond excited to share with you that the recording sessions wrapped up last week," a message on Metallica's website said on Wednesday, June 15. The band also called Reed a "true innovator and easily one of the most influential songwriters, musicians, and performers in rock music history."

The 52-year-old actor plays the villain Sebastian Shaw in "X-Men: First Class," the latest film adaptation of the Marvel comic book series, which is set in the 1960s during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
"We certainly have a responsibility to the fans of the comic books and the fans of the franchise," Bacon told OnTheRedCarpet.com in a satellite interview. "But we also have a responsibility to the viewers who've never picked up a comic book in their entire lives. I think that's one of the cool things about the movie that it really delivers to both audiences."
The movie also stars Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique and January Jones of "Mad Men" as Emma Frost.
The actor said he was pleasantly surprised with the final result after seeing the movie.
"There's a lot of stuff that can happen between when you walk away from the set and you actually sit in the theater to watch it," Bacon said. "So, probably three weeks ago, I sat there all by myself in a screening room at Fox in New York and I came out of it and I was just like, 'Wow, this movie really kicks ass.'"
Bacon married actress Kyra Sedgwick in 1988. They are parents to son Travis, 21, and daughter Sosie, 19.
Sedgwick, 45, won an Emmy last year for her role as cop Brenda Leigh Johnson on the TNT drama series "The Closer," which debuted in 2005 and has featured Bacon as a director. Its seventh and final season is set to air later this year. In December, Sedgwick announced she was leaving the series.
Their daughter Sosie also appeared on several episodes of "The Closer," but Bacon said he doesn't think she will continue to pursue an acting career.
"She won't be in the final season and I don't really think she's going to be in the business," said Bacon. "I mean, I think that 'The Closer' was kind of a one-shot deal. It's hard to say, I mean I think she enjoyed it but when it was finished, she kind of said to us, 'You know how you guys really love this and your life is really in front of these cameras?' and we said, 'Yeah' and she said, 'That's not really for me.' So at least for the time being, I don't think that she's really going to pursue it."
Bacon recently talked about losing money in the highly-publicized Bernie Madoff Ponzi scheme and said Sedgwick's regular television job helped the family pull through.
Bacon rose to fame with the 1984 musical movie "Footloose" and went on to star in films such as "Apollo 13," "Sleepers" and "Wild Things." His acting career has spurred a "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" trivia game and he spoofed himself in a commercial promoting Logitech Revue, a gadget that allows viewers to watch Google TV. He played a nerdy Kevin Bacon fan.

The cast of "Jersey Shore" is set to return to television for a fourth season in Italy on August 4, according to Deadline.com.
"Jersey Shore" was the top-rated cable shows of 2010. The series depicts a group of party-loving, self-proclaimed "Guidos and Guidettes" and has become a pop culture phenomenon.
"Poised to get their G.T.L. on abroad, ready to drop in on Vinny's family for a famous Guadagnino dinner and excited to trade gorillas for Italian stallions, this wacky and dysfunctional family is about to turn 'The Beautiful country' upside down," MTV said in a statement when the news was first announced in January.
"GTL" stands for "Gym, Tan, Laundry," which constitutes the activities "Jersey Shore" stars typically engage in regularly.
Cast member Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and co-star Deena Nicole Cortese were recently involved in a minor vehicle crash in Italy while filming for the fourth season.
The Italian website La Repubblica said a Fiat Multipla carrying Polizzi, Cortese and a "Jersey Shore" production worker struck a traffic police squad car in Florence on Sunday afternoon. Two cops were taken to a local hospital but there were no reports of serious injuries, it reported.
The cast is set to return to the show's original location, Seaside Heights, New Jersey, for filming of the fifth season. Production of the new season is slated for late June, shortly after the cast returns from Italy.
Three of the show's cast members also have their own shows in the works set to air in 2012.
The network announced in April that they will build the "Jersey Shore" franchise with two new programs starring Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Jenni "JWoww" Farley and Paul "DJ Pauly D" Delvecchio, which will begin production later in the year.

Entertainment NewsLOS ANGELES -- Young X-Men don't have the same box-office superpowers as their older selves.
Studio estimates Sunday pegged "X-Men: First Class" at a solid No. 1 opening with a $56 million weekend.
But the prequel chronicling the formative years of the comic-book mutants found smaller audiences than the franchise's first four big-screen adventures, which featured older versions of the X-Men.
Debut weekends for the last three "X-Men" flicks ranged from $85.1 million to $102.8 million. The original "X-Men" opened 11 years ago with $54.5 million, but that would amount to about $80 million today adjusting for inflation. The previous weekend's top movie, "The Hangover Part II," fell to second-place with $32.4 million. That raised its domestic total to $186.9 million but represented a steep 62 percent drop from its huge opening weekend.
