Sarah Palin's son marries high school sweetheart

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's son, 22-year-old Track Palin has married his high school sweetheart.

Track married 21-year-old Britta Hanson in a small ceremony in Hatcher Pass, not far from the Palin's hometown of Wasilla, Ala., reported People magazine.

The two are reportedly planning to throw a larger wedding celebration next winter at Alyeska Ski Resort south of Anchorage when family and friends from out of state can travel north.

Track Palin, who is an army reservist, spent a year deployed in Iraq with the Army. He plans to take courses at the University of Alaska, where Hanson is a nursing student.
