Paula Deen opens up about her Type 2 diabetes diagnosis - See video

Food Network star Paula Deen set the record straight on "The Today Show" on January 17 and confirmed that she does have Type 2 diabetes.

In an interview with Al Rocker, which can be seen below, Deen admitted that she was first diagnosed with the disease three years ago during a routine physical.

"I came home, I told my children, I told my husband, I said, 'I'm gonna keep this close to my chest for the time being' because I had to figure out things in my own head," she said.

Type 2 is the most common form of diabetes, according to the Associated Press. In Type 2 diabetes, the body either does not produce enough insulin or does not use it efficiently, allowing excess sugar, or glucose, to accumulate in the blood.

Rumors of her diabetes diagnosis were first reported back in May 2011 by the National Enquirer and on January 13, The Daily ran a report that she had signed on to endorse the diabetes drug Novartis.

However, Deen confirmed during her appearance that she is now a spokesperson for Novo Nordisk, which supplies her diabetes medication. She will appear with her family in a new ad set to debut later this month. The company also recently launched a "Diabetes in a New Light" website featuring videos and recipes by the Food Network star.

On the site, Deen tells viewers she's made small changes in her lifestyle since her diagnosis by going on more walks with her husband and she has quit drinking sweet tea.

"I'm here today to let the world know that it is not a death sentence," Deen said during her "Today Show" appearance.

When pressed by Rocker about her butter-rich dishes playing a role in her diabetes diagnosis, Deen replied, "Here's the thing, you know, I've always encouraged moderation."

"On my show, you know, I share with you all these yummy, fattening recipes, but I tell people 'in moderation... You can have that little piece of pie,'" she added.

Deen made headlines in August after exchanging words with Anthony Bourdain, who called her "the worst, most dangerous person in America."

"The worst, most dangerous person to America is clearly Paula Deen," Bourdain, 55, told TV Guide at the time. "She revels in unholy connections with evil corporations and she's proud of the fact that her food is (expletive) bad for you. If I were on at seven at night and loved by millions of people at every age, I would think twice before telling an already obese nation that it's OK to eat food that is killing us. Plus, her food sucks."

Deen responded on "Fox and Friends," saying she was shocked, considering she's never met Bourdain and wondered why he used "such harsh words."

"I don't know if it was a publicity thing of if someone had just peed in his bowl of cereal that morning and he was mad," Deen said. "Anthony, dear, I'm so sorry you feel that way."

Bourdain told the food blog Eater on January 16 that since rumors of Deen's diagnosis popped up "people have been calling looking for quotes."

He said he takes "no pleasure" in the fact that Deen has diabetes but added, "When your signature dish is hamburger in between a doughnut, and you've been cheerfully selling this stuff knowing all along that you've got Type 2 Diabetes...It's in bad taste if nothing else."

Deen appeared on "Today" last year and said that the things she couldn't live without include butter and her deep-fryer. One of her most famous recipes is the Lady's Brunch Burger, which consists of bacon and egg on a hamburger served in a glazed doughnut.

When asked by Rocker if she will continue to eat her typical dishes, Deen said, "People see me on TV two or three times a day and they see me cooking all these wonderfully Southern, fattening dishes. That's only 30 days out of 365. And it's for entertainment. And people have to be responsible. Like I told Oprah a few years ago, honey, I'm your cook, not your doctor. You are going to have to be responsible for yourself."

The cookbook author's son Bobby Deen took a different approach on his Cooking Channel series "Not My Mama's Meals," where he creates lower calorie versions of his mother's recipes.

Mary Tyler Moore honored with SAG Lifetime Achievement Award

Mary Tyler Moore will be honored with the 48th Screen Actors Guild's Lifetime Achievement Award, during the upcoming ceremony.

Dick Van Dyke will present the award to his "Dick Van Dyke Show" co-star at the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, which are set to air at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday, January 29 on TNT and TBS.

The 75-year-old actress has received seven Emmy Awards, a Tony Award and was nominated for an Academy Award over the course of her career. Moore is known for her roles in "The Dick Van Dyke Show" in the 1960s and "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" in the 1970s. In the latter, she played Mary Richards, a local news producer in Minneapolis.

"Mary Tyler Moore won our hearts as Laura Petrie and Mary Richards, our respect as her production company became synonymous with quality television, our awe as she tackled difficult subject matter in film and on Broadway, and our admiration she turned her public recognition into a catalyst to draw attention to critical and deeply personal health and social issues," Screen Actors Guild National President Ken Howard said in a statement. "She truly embodies the spirit behind SAG's Life Achievement Award, and we are honored to proclaim her as its 48th recipient."

After "Mary Tyler Moore" ended in 1977, Moore went on to star in shows such as "The Naked Truth," "That '70s Show" and "Lipstick Jungle."

She was nominated for an Oscar for her performance in the 1980 Robert Redford-helmed film, "Ordinary People."

In May, the actress underwent surgery to remove a benign tumor on the lining of her brain.

"Mary Tyler Moore went in for an elective surgery to remove a meningioma, which is a benign tumor of the lining tissue of the brain (not a brain tumor). At the recommendation of her neurologist, who has been monitoring this for years, and a neurosurgeon, Mary decided to proceed with this fairly routine procedure," the publicist said in a statement to OnTheRedCarpet.com.

Last year, Moore reunited with her former "Mary Tyler Moore" co-star Betty White on the second season premiere of the comedy series "Hot in Cleveland" after more than 33 years.

She also helped White celebrate her 90th birthday and received a standing ovation when she appeared on NBC's special, "Betty White's 90th Birthday: A Tribute to America's Golden Girl," which aired on January 16.

Wahlberg makes controversial Flight 93 comment

Web produced by Jennifer Matarese, Eyewitness NewsNEW YORK -- Mark Wahlberg is a two time Oscar nominated actor with several big screens hits to his credit, but a comment he made about September 11th is not being viewed as his finest hour.

He made the comment in an article in the February issue of Men's Journal.

He was asked about the flight he was supposed to be on and he stated, "If I was on that plane with my kids, it wouldn't have went down like it did. There would have been a lot of blood in that first-class cabin and then me saying, 'OK, we're going to land somewhere safely, don't worry.'"

That statement is not sitting well with the family members of some of the 9/11 victims.

"If you want to say something profound you should educate yourself more about what happened," said Carole O'Hare, a family member of a Flight 93 victim.

Carole O'Hare lost her 79-year-old mother when Flight 93 crashed in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

"I personally don't like for people to use 9/11 in any kind of self motivating purpose. I think it's not particularly attractive," O'Hare said.

Wahlberg later issued an apology saying to speculate was "ridiculous to begin with." He said that to suggest he "would have done anything differently than the passengers on that plane was irresponsible."

Khloe Kardashian denies fertility treatment rumors on Twitter

Khloe Kardashian took to her official Twitter page on January 17 to deny reports that she is seeking fertility treatments in Dallas.

"Because there seems to be much speculation, here is my statement... I am not at this time in my life considering any type of fertility treatments. If and when I do, I will shout it from the rooftops but for now its in Gods hands," she wrote.

Kardashian married the former Los Angeles Lakers basketball player Lamar Odom in September 2009. Odom currently plays for the Dallas Mavericks. The couple appears on "Keeping up with the Kardashians" and the spin-off, "Khloe & Lamar."

Odom has two children from a previous relationship.

Kardashian, 27, has been candid about her fertility issues in the past. During an appearance on "The Today Show" in October, she admitted trying to get pregnant was "so hard."

"I never knew about ovulation and the limited amount of time that you have to get pregnant," she added, according to Us Magazine. "I never knew about that. No one ever taught me that."

She also said that it was difficult because of Odom's traveling schedule.

Kardashian's pregnancy woes have been highlighted on her reality show "Khloe & Lamar." An episode in the series that aired in May showed her anxiety over the issue. The show also featured Kardashian's visit to the gynecologist to see if there was anything physically wrong with her.

The second season of "Khloe & Lamar" will premiere on February 19 and will capture all the drama behind the move to Dallas, according a statement from the E! network.

Kardashian's own paternity recently came into question when the ex-wives of her father Robert Kardashian claimed that he told them Khloe Kardashian was not his biological daughter. However, both Khloe and her mother Kris Jenner blasted the claims as false.

Kardashian's older sister, Kourtney, is already the mother to 2-year-old son Mason and announced her second pregnancy in late November.

Meanwhile, Khloe Kardashian was at the Staples Center on January 16 when her husband got a standing ovation from Lakers fans for his return to the stadium.

Kardashian later described the experience as "So emotional!"

Mark Wahlberg issues an apology for 9/11 plane comments

Mark Wahlberg issued an apology on Wednesday, January 18, for remarks he made during an interview about how events would have turned out differently if he was on one of the planes that crashed into the World Trade Center in New York City on Sept. 11, 2001.

In his interview with Men's Journal magazine, the rapper turned actor revealed he was scheduled to travel on one of the two planes and Wahlberg said if he had made his flight that day, things would be different.

"If I was on that plane with my kids, it wouldn't have went down like it did," he told the magazine. "There would have been a lot of blood in that first-class cabin and then me saying, 'OK, we're going to land somewhere safely, don't worry.'"

However, after 9/11 widows and others criticized his statements, the actor issued an apology, according to Reuters.

"To speculate about such a situation is ridiculous to begin with, and to suggest I would have done anything differently than the passengers on that plane was irresponsible," the 44-year-old actor said. "I deeply apologize to the families of the victims that my answer came off as insensitive, it was certainly not my intention."

Wahlberg is known for his acting projects, such as "The Fighter" and "The Departed." He is also the brother of New Kids On The Block singer Donnie Wahlberg. The two brothers opened up a hamburger restaurant in Hingham Shipyard, MA, called Wahlburgers in October.

He recently appeared opposite Kate Beckinsale in "Contraband" where he plays a former smuggler who works as a night guard. His character is dragged in for one more job in his former shady profession when his life is threatened after his brother-in-law botches a smuggling run. Beckinsale plays his wife.

In "Contraband," which hit theaters on January 13 is an English language adaptation of the 2008 Icelandic movie "Reykjavic-Rotterdam."

AP  Eyewitness NewsNEW YORK -- Should Jake Gyllenhaal be worried?

Taylor Swift graces the cover of Vogue's February issue and tells the magazine her next album will be about an "absolute crash-and-burn heartbreak" she experienced.

The 22-year-old singer doesn't name names, but she did date Gyllenhaal for a few months in 2010, and he broke up with her.

Swift says it helps her to "feel better" and gain "clarity" by writing songs about her relationships.

She also says she now has a list of "red flags" for if a relationship won't work: If a guy falls in love with her based on her Wikipedia page, is threatened that she needs security, puts her down or is obsessed with privacy, he's not for her.

The February issue of Vogue magazine goes on sale January 24.

'Spider-Man' producers punch back at Julie Taymor

AP  By MARK KENNEDYNEW YORK -- Producers of Broadway's "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark" have fired back in their legal fight with one-time director Julie Taymor, claiming the woman who they once called a visionary later failed to fulfill her legal obligations, wrote a "disjointed" and "hallucinogenic" musical, and refused to collaborate on changes when the $75 million show was in trouble.

In a countersuit filed Tuesday in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York against Taymor and her company, LOH Inc., the producers argued that the show "is a success despite Taymor, not because of her."

The lawsuit, which quotes from several private emails from members of the creative team, further exposes the deep rift that has opened between former collaborators who seemed to have reconciled - at least through forced smiles - on the red carpet this summer when the musical finally officially opened.

Taymor, who had been the original "Spider-Man" director and co-book writer, was fired from the musical in March after years of delays, accidents and critical backlash. The show, which features music by U2's Bono and The Edge, opened in November 2010 but spent months in previews before officially opening a few days after the Tony Awards in June.

In November, the Tony Award-winning director slapped the producers - led by Michael Cohl and Jeremiah J. Harris - as well as Glen Berger, her former co-book writer, with a copyright infringement lawsuit, alleging they violated her creative rights and haven't compensated her for the work she put into Broadway's most expensive musical.

In the new filing, the producers' counterclaims assert the copyright claims are baseless. They also argue that although Taymor was paid to co-write and collaborate on the musical, she refused "to fulfill her contractual obligations, declaring that she could not and would not do the jobs that she was contracted to do." They claim Taymor repeatedly refused to work on changes with other members of the production team.

The producers claim she "caused numerous delays, drove up costs, and failed to direct a musical about Spider-Man that could open on Broadway." Her version of the superhero story, they assert, bears little resemblance to the show that is currently playing at the Foxwoods Theatre.

"Taymor refused to develop a musical that followed the original, family-friendly 'Spider-Man' story, which was depicted in the Marvel comic books and the hugely successful motion picture trilogy based on them. Instead, Taymor, who admits that she was not a fan of the `Spider-Man' story prior to her involvement with the Musical, insisted on developing a dark, disjointed and hallucinogenic musical involving suicide, sex and death," the producers charge in the lawsuit.

They claim Spider-Man was "relegated to a supporting role" while a new Taymor-created villain character named Arachne took center stage. In the version that opened after Taymor left, the role of Arachne was substantially cut.

Charles Spada, an attorney who represents Taymor, said Tuesday that the counterclaims are "baseless." His client, he said, "will continue to vigorously seek enforcement of her creative rights" amid producers' "outrageous mischaracterizations and attempts to besmirch her reputation."

Taymor's lawsuit seeks half of all profits, gains and advantages derived from the sale, license, transfer or lease of any rights in the original "Spider-Man" book along with a permanent ban of the use of her name or likeness in connection with a documentary film that was made of the birth of the musical without her written consent.

It also seeks a jury trial to determine her share of profits from the unauthorized use of her version of the superhero story, which it said was believed to be in excess of $1 million.

After Taymor left, Philip William McKinley, who directed the Hugh Jackman musical "The Boy From Oz" in 2003, was hired to take over. He was billed as creative consultant when the musical opened.

Only Taymor will be considered eligible for the show's Tony Award for the best direction of a musical category.

The stunt-heavy show has been doing brisk business ever since it opened its doors and most weeks easily grossing more than the $1.2 million the producers have indicated they need to reach to stay viable. Over the Christmas holiday, the show earned the highest single-week gross of any show in Broadway history.

Taymor, who helmed "The Lion King," also is seeking compensation through the union that represents theater directors.

The Stage Directors and Choreographers Society filed an arbitration claim in June against the show's producers over unpaid royalties.

On Tuesday, "Spider-Man" producers blasted those claims, saying that "Taymor is an independent contractor, not an employee" and that the society's backing Taymor amounts to "unlawful conspiracy among independent contractors."

AP  By JOHN CARUCCINEW YORK -- In a move to engage young people worldwide, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton has named Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as a global cultural ambassador.

The Hall of Famer and NBA career scoring leader will promote the importance of education, social and racial tolerance, cultural understanding and using sports as a means of empowerment.

His appointment was announced Wednesday by the State Department.

"It's a great honor and I'm thrilled that they see me as the person that could get this done," he said in a phone interview.

The 64-year-old said he remembers a similar program under President John F. Kennedy where speakers came to his school in Harlem.

"So now I get to follow in the footsteps of one my heroes," he said.

Ann Stock, assistant secretary of state for education and cultural affairs, said Abdul-Jabbar will travel the world to engage a generation of young people to help promote diplomacy.

Stock said Tuesday the appointment is part of Clinton's vision of "Smart Power" that combines diplomacy, defense and development to "bridge the gap in a tense world through young people."

Abdul-Jabbar said he will share his take on life in America, adding: "I'll be doing a few basketball clinics, too."

He will make his first official trip Sunday when he travels to Brazil for a number of events centering on education.

"I look forward to meeting with young people all over the world and discussing ways in which we can strengthen our understanding of one another through education, through sports and through greater cultural tolerance," he said.

Since his retirement in 1989, Abdul-Jabbar has been involved in projects focused on African-American history and socio-economic justice. His 2011 documentary, "On the Shoulders of Giants," sought to highlight these issues. He has also launched the Skyhook Foundation, which works to improve children's lives through education and sports.

Last year, he received the Lincoln Medal for his commitment to education, understanding and equality and his contributions that exemplify President Abraham Lincoln's legacy.

His latest book, "What Color Is My World?: The Lost History of African-American Inventors," was released earlier this month.

He says Clinton told him: "In Brazil, they would be shocked to find out black Americans were so much involved inventing so many useful items that we use today."

The former UCLA star scored 38,387 points during his 20-year NBA career with the Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Lakers.

'Cougar Town' returns to ABC's midseason schedule

"Cougar Town" has finally returned to ABC's midseason schedule for the show's third season.

The Courteney Cox comedy will join ABC's Tuesday comedy block on Valentine's Day, February 14, with an episode entitled, "Ain't Love Strange."

In the episode, Jules (Cox) gets angry when her boyfriend/neighbor Grayson (Josh Hopkins) calls her "predictable" and her best friend/neighbor Ellie (Christa Miller) worries that her son Stan is turning into a "devil child" or, heaven forbid, might grow up to be like Laurie (Busy Philipps).

The show has replaced the cross-dressing comedy "Work It," which was canceled last week after airing two episodes. The show featured two men dressing up as women in order to find work and received criticism from LGBT advocacy organizations.

The critically-acclaimed series was conspicuously missing from the lineup when ABC debuted its 2012 midseason schedule in November, leading many fans to worry that it had been canceled.

However, an ABC spokesperson told OnTheRedCarpet.com at the time, "We haven't announced its return yet but you'll definitely see it next year."

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the network is planning to cut down "Cougar Town's" upcoming third season from 22 to 15 episodes.

A source close to the matter confirmed to OnTheRedCarpet.com that a full 22-episode order was not needed given the show's later premiere date.

"Cougar Town" stars Cox as a wine-loving Florida real estate agent and follows her relationship with her neighbors, son, ex-husband and co-workers.

The series, which was created by Bill Lawrence and Kevin Biegel, debuted in 2009 and has battled several scheduling jumps, but sources told the Hollywood Reporter that ABC still "very much believes in 'Cougar Town.'"

"Cougar Town" is set to return at 8:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday, February 14 on ABC.

Bruce Jenner seen with scar on his face, reportedly treated for skin cancer

Bruce Jenner sported a scar on his face during a Lakers game on January 16 as he watched son-in-law Lamar Odom of the Dallas Maverkis square off against his old team.

According to reports, the scar on Jenner's face was the result of surgery he had on January 13 to remove a cancerous growth, according to E! News, which cites sources close to the family. The network airs "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," which features Jenner, his wife Kris and his step-daughters Kim, Kourtney and Khloe.

However, neither Jenner nor his wife Kris, have commented on the reports. The rest of the Kardashian/Jenner family has also stayed quiet about the scar.

Jenner reportedly went to see a specialist on January 13 after seeing a red lesion on his face. A biopsy showed it was skin cancer. According to the report, Jenner will be fine.

Jenner is a former Olympic athlete. He won a gold medal for the decathlon in the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal.

Since 2007 he has appeared in "Keeping Up With The Kardashians." He and Kris Jenner wed in 1991, shortly after she divorced lawyer Robert Kardashian, and the couple has two daughters together, Kylie and Kendall. Jenner also has four children from previous marriages and serves as a step-father to Kris Jenner's children Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Rob.

Garth Brooks wants $500,000 donation back from Oklahoma hospital

Garth Brooks wants his $500,000 donation back from Oklahoma hospital after they refused to name a building after his late mother.

Brooks has filed a lawsuit against Integris Canadian Valley Regional Hospital in Yukon because he believed that part of the facility would be named after his mother when he made the donation. He has sued to have the money returned, according to the Associated Press.

The hospital has said that the donation was an "unconditional" gift and that they have done nothing wrong by not naming a building after Colleen Brooks.

"Unfortunately, talks broke down or did not continue or Mr. Brooks was not satisfied with the options we were offering, and that's when he decided to sue," hospital spokesman Hardy Watkins told the Associated Press on Tuesday before the trial.

A judge swore in 12 jury members on Tuesday and opening statements are set to begin on Wednesday.

Brooks' lawyer said the case was between "one of the biggest country music stars that ever lived vs. the largest health care system in Oklahoma."

According to the lawsuit, hospital officials showed the country star mock-ups of buildings bearing his mother's name and "told him that the money was earmarked for such a project."

Brooks' mother died of cancer in 1999 and Brooks' spokesperson said he was "stunned and hurt" that the hospital had neglected to name anything after her.

Watkins said that Brooks had met with hospital officials to discuss the possibility of naming a women's center or the entire hospital after his mother for two years after the donation was made in 2005. The naming options were available for donations ranging from $250,000 to $15 million and according to Watkins, the donation currently remains unspent in a hospital account.

"We certainly recognize Mr. Brooks is an amazing ambassador for Oklahoma, and a very accomplished star in his own right," Watkins said. "We certainly wish it did not have to come to this."

The country singer has won two Grammy Awards and been nominated 14 times. Brooks arrived in court with his wife, country singer Trisha Yearwood.

Casper Smart, who is dating 42-year-old Jennifer Lopez, recently Tweeted some cryptic messages about age.

Smart, who is 18 years younger than Lopez, 42, recently took to Twitter to possibly address their reported relationship and age difference. While Lopez isn't directly mentioned in the Tweets, the cryptic messages seem to address their situation.

"Age, status, n opinions of others are irrelevant," Smart Tweeted on January 18. "Our hearts are endless and our souls infinite...Our ages are mere reminders of the hours logged on this earth and the precious time remaining......... To be continued," he continued in a separate Tweet.

Smart ended the Twitter frenzy with one final Tweet.

"We should all honor our time here by indulging our passion and dreams. So, close your ears and open your hearts; Love and be happy!" he Tweeted.

While Lopez and Smart have yet to confirm an official romance, superstar Lopez re-Tweeted all three of Smart's Tweets on her official Twitter page, raising speculation about their rumored romance.

In late November 2011 the couple spent a romantic Thanksgiving holiday together in Hawaii, solidifying the rumors that they were dating.

Photos of their romantic getaway emerged on sites like Us Weekly, and displayed the pair sipping tropical drinks in their swimsuits on the island of Kauai. 24-year-old Smart was also spotted playing with Lopez's 3-year-old twins Max and Emme during the trip.

"Casper was great with the kids," a source told Us Weekly. "[He] was twirling them around and doing flips with Emme and she seemed very comfortable with him."

The pair sparked relationship rumors earlier in the month and were spotted getting cozy after their performance at the American Music Awards (pictured above together).

Jessica Alba launches Honest, an eco-friendly company

Jessica Alba launched an e-commerce company Honest.com on Tuesday, to sell eco-friendly and toxic free family products.

Honest.com, which is named after the actress' 3-year-old daughter Honor, will offer monthly prescription packages for products like diapers, shampoo and laundry detergent.

"I've spent way too many hours researching products and driving around trying to find safer, eco-friendly options for my kids," Alba said in a statement. "I knew that most people didn't have that kind of time, nor the means to pay the premium prices. We had to make it easier."

Alba welcomed her second daughter Haven with husband Cash Warren in August and told the Associated Press that she decided to start the company after learning that toxic chemicals are in widely used, everyday products. Alba plans to expand the line based on feedback from her customers.

The 30-year-old actress said that starting a business was "hands down" more nerve-racking than opening a new movie, but also more gratifying.

A portion of profits from The Honest Company will go to the Baby2Baby organization, which supplies needy families with baby products. Customers will also have the option of trying a free "Discovery Kit" with a sample pack of diapers and wipes or trial-sized bath, skin and cleaning products.

Alba announced the arrival of her second baby on August 15. She and Warren, a 32-year-old producer, married in May 2008. Alba told Latina Magazine in an interview published in July that her first daughter changed her perspective on life, saying: "Before I had her, work was all I had. Now it's not."

Tyra Banks reportedly finds new love interest

Tyra Banks went on a trip and came back with a little more than just fond memories.

Banks, a 38-year-old model and businesswoman, recently took a trip to Asia and came back with ... a love interest. According to People magazine, Banks found romance while on the excursion.

"It's a total long-distance romance," a source told People of Banks's new Balinese love interest. "But it's a big deal."

The trip to China was to tape the latest season of "America's Next Top Model" and Banks went right before the holidays. According to the magazine, Banks traveled back to New York after the taping, and flew right back to Bali to spend the holidays with her mystery flame.

Banks was recently involved with Brooklyn businessman John Utendahl for three years before the pair split in early December 2011.

A rep for Banks would not comment on her new romance.

In 2011, Banks penned her own fantasy novel, "Modelland," which she said provides valuable lessons for aspiring models who may face "monsters," including sexual predators, in real life.

The novel depicts the adventures of Tookie De La Cr?me and several other girls in a mysterious and dangerous realm and is based loosely on Banks' experiences in the modeling world. She began her modeling career as a teenager.

Aside from her acting, modeling and writing endeavors, the personality is also enrolled in Harvard's Business School program. Banks went on the "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and told the host, "Jimmy, it is so. Damn. Hard."

The program, called the Owner/President Management Program, costs around $33,000 per week, but the model hopes it will help in her managing her own production company, Bankable Productions. She hopes to graduate in February 2012.

Lavigne, 27, known for her music career and fashion line, recently responded to a Tweet by "Hils" star Brody Jenner...with love. The pair dated for almost two years, sometime early 2010 to current, though there are reports the pair have separated.

According to People magazine, a source confirmed that the couple have indeed split. The source also says that the lovebirds, who were inseparable for much of their romance, could very well get back together.

The night that the news broke about the alleged split, Jenner Tweeted a cryptic Tweet that read, "Everybody... RELAX!!!" on January 16.

A source also confirmed to E! News that the pair is no longer an item, and that the breakup was a "mutual decision."

According to E! Online, a source close to the singer confirmed that she recently sold her Bel Air mansion, and will embark on an overseas tour as a "distraction" from the breakup.

Ashton Kutcher to Twitter hacker: I'm coming for you

Ashton Kutcher has become a vigilante internet cop, threatening to track down a hacker who took over the "Two and a Half Men" star's Twitter and Foursquare accounts.

"So apparently someone thinks they are clever hacking my account. #lame," Kutcher wrote on Twitter but deleted on Monday. "Ok mr hacker, you only made one mistake. You hacked my Foursquare and I now know your address. Whoops...This is gonna be fun."

Later on, Kutcher wrote (and subsequently deleted) the message, "I'm coming for you my friend," with a picture of the hacker's supposed location.

"Big props to http://foursquare.com for your amazing security team!" Kutcher, who is also an investor in the company which allows one to post their current location, wrote on Monday night, presumably after the hacker had been apprehended.

One of the fake Twitter messages the hacker posted on Kutcher's account referenced the actor's alleged relationship with "Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist" screenwriter Lorene Scafaria, which both Kutcher and Scafaria vehemently denied.

"First official sleepover with my girl@lorenescafaria so maybe breakfast with everyone next time! (@Lorene's House)," read the hacker's Tweet.

Scafaria recently broke up with "The O.C." actor Adam Brody and Demi Moore, 49, announced that she had decided to end her six-year marriage to Kutcher, 33 on November 17.

The hacker also targeted "Modern Family" star Eric Stonestreet who told E! News' Ryan Seacrest that he only learned about the infraction when followers asked him why he was sending spam about diet pills.

When Seacrest asked the 40-year-old actor what one can do about hackers, Stonestreet said, "Hunt him down and punch them in the face."

Beyonce opens up about new baby, hospital controversy and Jay-Z's diaper duties

Beyonce has opened up about motherhood for the first time, since welcoming her daughter Blue Ivy home from the hospital on January 7 and says her rapper husband Jay-Z will be a good father.

"He is a very protective and loyal guy by nature. He is a very protective husband, and since we found out I was pregnant I have seen the protective father in him," Beyonce told UK's Star magazine, the Daily Mail reports. "He is not only an inspirational artist, he is an inspirational husband. I know the next step on his journey is going to be being an inspirational father."

Beyonce was also clear that her husband will be around for the good and the sometimes messy elements of child rearing.

"He will change diapers, of course he will. He is going to be a very hands-on father. He has already said publicly that providing isn't love. Love is being there. Love is doing the little things for your child."

The 30-year-old singer insists that though she was born to music superstars, her daughter will have a "normal, loving family."

"The key for me is to work everything around your children and not the other way," Beyonce continued. "At home, she'll be part of a normal, loving family with a loving mom, a loving dad, a loving aunt and loving grandparents, just like any other kid."

Though her daughter is just 10 days old, the new mother is already bonding with her.

"Nothing can describe the feeling," she said. "You have the instant connection once you know your child is growing inside you, but when you hold it for the first time, the words can't be found."

The singer also addressed the controversy over her high security hospital stay after she and Jay-Z following reports that she had rented out an entire maternity floor, reports which Lenox Hill Hospital denied to OnTheRedCarpet.com.

"The suggestion that the couple paid $1.3 million to rent an entire maternity floor is simply not true," the medical center's executive director, Frank Danza said in a statement obtained by OnTheRedCarpet.com. "The family is housed in an executive suite at the hospital and is being billed the standard rate for those accommodations. Our executive suites are available for any patient, including the food service and amenities provided to the Carter family."

"Security was very tight, but not just for the sake of it, it was for the security of our daughter," Beyonce told Star.

Following Blue Ivy's birth, Jay-Z released a new song, "Glory," which is about his newborn daughter. Blue Ivy is his first child with Beyonce, whom he married in 2008. The track, "Glory," makes reference to a miscarriage his wife had prior to the birth.

UPDATE:

Beyonce's rep told Access Hollywood that the interview published by UK Star is "completely made up." Meanwhile, the editor of the gossip magazine stands by their editorial.

"It is not made up or fictitious at all. We bought the interview from a reporter in the U.S. who conducted the interview with Beyonce before the birth. The reporter then obtained the 'top-up' info after the birth, which we believe to have been signed off by a girl on her LSM team," the Star UK editor told Access Hollywood.

Judge says Lohan doing well on probation

See it on TV? Check here. AP  By ANTHONY McCARTNEYLOS ANGELES -- Lindsay Lohan received her second favorable probation report in a row and a judge told the actress that she appears to be on track to complete a strict program by the end of March.

Lohan appeared in court for less than five minutes Tuesday to update the judge on her progress in completing strict probation terms that were imposed in November after a series of missteps by the actress.

By all accounts, the rigid program has benefited Lohan, with Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner telling Lohan that she received favorable reports from probation officials and her community service program. Lohan is doing mandatory cleanup duty at the county morgue and attending frequent psychotherapy sessions, with Sautner requiring Lohan to appear in court monthly for updates.

"Just keep doing what you're doing, you appear to be doing it well," Sautner told Lohan.

The model and actress arrived early for Tuesday's hearing, wearing black slacks, a blue blouse and matching sweater.

The "Mean Girls" star will have to work at the morgue 15 times before she returns to court on Feb. 22.

Sautner said Lohan appears to be on track to complete morgue duty and court-mandated therapy by March 29, just shy of five years after the actress' problems began with a drunken driving arrest on Memorial Day weekend in 2007. After that, she will probably be placed on informal probation that won't require court appearances.

She has struggled with the terms of her sentence since then, prompting judges to send Lohan to jail and rehab repeatedly.

Tuesday's hearing marked the second straight hearing in which the actress wasn't on the receiving end of threats of further punishment.

Lohan's spokesman, Steve Honig, said before the hearing that his client has made her morgue service her "primary focus."

The actress remains on probation for both the drunken driving case and a misdemeanor grand theft case filed after she took a necklace without permission in January 2010. She pleaded no contest to taking the $2,500 necklace and served 35 days on house arrest last summer.

Bruno Mars cleared of a cocaine possession charge

Bruno Mars was cleared of a felony cocaine possession charge on Wednesday in Las Vegas, according to the Associated Press.

The singer, whose real name is Peter Hernandez, was arrested in September 2010 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino after a bathroom attendant noticed a man taking a long time in a stall with a bag of a white, powdered substance just before 2 a.m., and summoned security.

Police said Mars handed over a bag containing 2.6 grams of cocaine, and told the arresting officer he'd never used drugs before.

Mars, 26, pled guilty to a felony cocaine possession charge back in January 2011. The singer took a plea deal worked out with Las Vegas prosecutors. Mars paid a $2,000 fine, in addition to serving probation and 200 hours of community service.

The other term of the deal was that if he stayed out of trouble for a year, the felony charge would be dismissed.

Attorneys for Mars told a state court judge that Mars has met the terms of the deal, according to the wire service. Clark County District Court Judge Jessie Walsh dismissed the case on January 18.

Mars, best known for hits like "Just The Way You Are" and "The Lazy Song," worked with unspecified children's charities and health-related organizations to complete his community service, his lawyer said on January 17. The singer did not appear in court for the brief.

In an interview with GQ magazine in March 2011, the singer spoke about the arrest and said, "I'm not gonna preach that I'm a role model."

He added, "I'm a [expletive] musician! But I've learned people are watching, so don't do nothing stupid."

Mars is up for six awards at the 2012 Grammy Awards. He will also be performing at the ceremony, which is set to take place on Feb. 12, 2012 and airs live on CBS that day at 8 p.m. ET. Check out the list of nominees here.

'American Idol' returns for its 11th season - Will you watch? (Poll)

American Idol is coming back for its 11th season, and many fans are ready for its return.

"'I've been hearing a lot of 'We can't wait,'" Ryan Seacrest told ABC News Radio. "Actually, I've been hearing more 'I can't wait for 'American Idol' to come back this next season' than I've heard in two or three years.'"

The FOX singing-talent competition is set to return on January 18 to wow fans with new talent. The show will return with a two-night event on Wednesday and Thursday showcasing the nation's best - and worst - auditions from the road. Ryan Seacrest, the show's longtime host, explained how he feels that now that the judges are more experienced and used to each other, things will go smoother.

"The first season ... Steven and Jennifer, were still sort of trying to understand what it is that you're looking for initially to go through the process to be the Idol," Seacrest explained. "But now that they see what the process is, I think, they look at the auditions a little differently. And 'tougher' wouldn't be the word, but they're much more specific in what they want this year."

It was announced in June 2011 that Steven Tyler would be returning for show's 11th season, however Jennifer Lopez, who signed a one-year contract, was unsure. Later it was confirmed that Lopez would in fact be returning, making the cast of judges the same as season 10.

With past contestants such as Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, Carrie Underwood and others reaching such great fame, the show has only heightened in popularity. Last season, Scotty McCreery won, and marked a turning point for the show.

"When we started the competition, it was just pop," Seacrest said. "It was strictly, mainstream, stereotypical pop and with each year it's broadened out a little bit, and now you see all walks of life auditioning. It makes the show interesting."

The season premiere is at 8pm on Wednesday January 18, and then continues Thursday night and again on Sunday night - Will you tune in? Vote in our poll below.

Natalie Wood death investigation: No new evidence, official says

The death of actress Natalie Wood still appears to be accidental, a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department official says, some two months after an investigation into the case was reopened.

Wood, who played Maria in the musical film "West Side Story," died at age 43 on Nov. 29, 1981 during a yacht trip near Catalina Island in California with Robert Wagner, her then-husband, and Christopher Walken, who co-starred with her in the sci-fi thriller "Brainstorm." Her death was ruled an accidental drowning.

A Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department detective told reporters on November 18 that new information had surfaced and that investigators would re-examine the case, adding that Wagner, 81, was not a suspect. (See video of the press conference.)

The At this point, it is an accidental death," The Los Angeles Times recently quoted William McSweeney, the department's chief of detectives, as saying. "Nothing has been discovered to suggest changing that at this time."

However, McSweeney told the newspaper that detectives are still investigating the case.

The November announcement regarding the reopening of the inquiry was made less than two weeks before the 30th anniversary of Wood's death and just days after the release of the 50th anniversary editions of "West Side Story" DVDs. The detective said the timing was "inconsequential" to the Sheriff's Department," adding: "We're not concerned with the anniversary date."

In the past two months, several witnesses have spoken the press about Wood's death, including a woman who said she was on a nearby boat and heard a female voice telling for help and the lifeguard captain who found the actress' lifeless body in the water.

Wood was born as Natalia Zakharenko in California. She started out as a successful child actress in films such as "Miracle on 34th Street." She later went to star in several films including the 1955 film "Rebel Without a Cause" opposite James Dean and the movie adaptation of "Gypsy." She earned two Oscar nominations for "Splendor in the Grass" in 1961, the same year "West Side Story" was released, and "Love with the Proper Stranger" in 1963.

Wagner, known to younger audiences as the villain "Number Two" in the "Austin Powers" films, married Wood in 1957. They divorced about four years later, then remarried in 1972 and had one child, Courtney. Wood also had another daughter, Natasha, from her marriage to British producers Richard Gregson. Wagner married for the fourth time in 1990.

Khloe Kardashian rants following paternity tabloid report, Kris Jenner calls it 'stupid'

Khloe Kardashian went on a Twitter rant on Wednesday following a tabloid report that suggested she is not the biological child of the late Robert Kardashian, while her mother and his ex-wife, Kris Jenner, called the claims "stupid."

Khloe Kardashian, 27, is taller than her sisters Kim, 31, and Kourtney, 32, and bears little resemblance to them. She was even seen seeking a DNA test on an episode of the family's hit E! reality show, "Keeping Up With The Kardashians."

Star magazine quoted Jan Ashley, Robert Kardashian's second wife, as saying that he had told her that Khloe Kardashian is "not really a Kardashian." It also quoted Ellen Pierson, his third and latest spouse, as saying that "Robert did question the fact that Khloe was his." The story was also posted on Radar Online, whose parent company owns Star.

"The audacity you have to mention my father's name like this!," Khloe Kardashian Tweeted. "Should be ashamed of urself! I let a lot of things slide but this one is really low... YOU ARE DISGUSTING! (yes you know who YOU are)"

Robert Kardashian, a lawyer, died at age 59 in 2003 after battling cancer. He and Jenner, his first wife, were married between 1978 and 1990. The two also have a son, Robert, who is 24. Jenner also has two daughters, Kylie and Kendall, with current husband Bruce Jenner.

E! Online quoted Kris Jenner as saying that the claims printed by Star are "so stupid. All so silly. Just another day!!!"

In a 2009 episode of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," Khloe Kardashian is seen seeking a DNA test to find out if Kris Jenner is her birth mother. She talks about how she feels her mother treats her differently than her sisters, namely Kim and Kourtney, adding "someone that psychotic cannot be blood related to me."

She orders a DNA home testing kit and is seen inserting a Q-Tip into her mother's mouth.

"Like, I have boundaries! Warn me!" Kris Jenner says, and then tells Bruce Jenner about the incident.

"Khloe has a tendency to be very dramatic and over the top," he says.

Khloe Kardashian then shows her mother what appears to be the results of a DNA test.

"You have a child," she says, smiling.

"Khloe, I was there when you were born," Kris Jenner tells her, adding that she went through "a lot of pain that day and you're still getting on my nerves. I love you very much."

Khloe Kardashian's E! reality show spin-off "Khloe & Lamar," which showcases her life with husband and NBA star Lamar Odom, returns for a second season on February. The two filmed episodes for it in Dallas. Odom was traded from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks late last year.

Halle Berry is engaged to French actor Olivier Martinez, reports say.

The 45-year-old Oscar-winning actress and Martinez met on the set of the movie "Dark Tide" around the summer of 2010 and have been photographed together several times at celebrity events and in public since then. Berry has been married twice before and has a daughter from a previous relationship.

On Wednesday, January 11, People and Us Weekly magazines quoted a spokesperson for the jewelry designer Gurhan as saying that Martinez gave Berry a diamond-and-emerald engagement ring. Their representatives had no immediate comment about the report.

Earlier this month, Berry was photographed wearing a a gold ring with what appeared to be an emerald stone. The picture was posted on the website of Marie Claire magazine.

Berry and Martinez, who turns 45 on Thursday, have been linked romantically for more than a year. The two were photographed kissing in September 2010. Since then, they have been spotted together in places such as Paris and the Spanish island of Majorca and were spotted at a Cirque du Soleil show and restaurant in Los Angeles earlier this week.

Berry has been married twice before and has a 3-year-old daughter, Nahla, with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry. The actress and David Justice, a baseball player were married for more than four years in the 1990s. Berry then wed singer Eric Benet in 2001. They divorced almost four years later.

Tia Mowry: Brandy was shy about singing in front of 'Game' co-stars (Spoilers)

Tia Mowry: Brandy is treated like familyBrandy: My 'Game' character is a bit 'ghetto'Tia Mowry talks 'Game,' changes for MelaniePooch Hall: Brandy brought 'force' to 'Game'Coby Bell: 'Comedy is back, full throttle'

Tia Mowry says Brandy was shy about singing in front of her co-stars of the BET series "The Game," which features the Grammy-winning R& artist in a new and recurring role.

Warning: Spoiler alert!

Mowry, who is 33 and rose to fame with "Sister, Sister," plays Melanie Barnett on the show, which is about women who have relationships with pro-football players. The show returns for a fifth season on Tuesday, January 10 at 9 p.m. ET. Brandy is set to appear in a recurring role as Chardonnay, a sassy bartender.

The 32-year-old is also known for her acting career, having appeared on the teen comedy "Moesha," starting in 1996. In recent years, she has made guest appearances on shows such as "90210" and "Drop Dead Diva."

"This show is a great show to come on because we're supportive, we're loving - we are like family," Mowry told OnTheRedCarpet.com co-host Rachel Smith at the recent premiere of "The Game." "So that's basically how we treated her."

"She just came in, it's like, she was always there, she's a professional, she's great," she added about Brandy. "I like my dynamic with her - it's kind of hilarious, but I don't want to give it away. But the coolest thing is is we'd try to get her to sing a little bit and she's so shy. And we're like, 'Come on girl, really?'"

Mowry said Brandy does not actually sing on "The Game."

The singer told OnTheRedCarpet.com that her "Game" character, Chardonnay, is "very strong, witty, a little ghetto."

"She knows what she wants," she added. "She's just great and she's interested in Jason Pitts but she's interested in him for who he is as a person, not his fame, not his money and she puts him in check."

Coby Bell plays Pitts, a former San Diego Sabers team captain and sports reporter.

"Pretty much all my scenes this season are with Brandy," the actor told OnTheRedCarpet.com. "We had so much fun working together."

He also said that in season 5, "the comedy is back, full throttle," adding: "Last year was more a balance between the comedy and the drama. This year, comedy's taking over."

Mowry said her own character is "a little more independent" in the new season of "The Game."

"She has a little bit more of a voice," the actress said. "In the past, we have seen her extremely submissive to her boyfriend, and now husband. It's important that as women, that we don't lose our identity. I mean, I'm a mom, I'm a wife, and it's important that we continue to do what we love to do. And you see a lot of that with Melanie this year - and I love it."

Tia Mowry and her husband Cory Hardrict, who is also an actor, welcomed their son Cree in June.

Mowry also stars with her twin and "Sister, Sister" co-star Tamar in the reality show, "Tia & Tamera," which debuted on the Style Network in August 2011. This is the first time the two have both been cast members on a television series since "Sister, Sister" ended in 1999 after six seasons. "Tia & Tamara," which has been renewed for a second season, last year showcased the actress' pregnancy and weight loss woes.

Mowry told OnTheRedCarpet.com that

Brandy, who won a Grammy for "The Boy Is Mine," her 1998 duet with Monica, is also preparing to release her sixth studio album - her first in about four years. She told OnTheRedCarpet.com fans can expect it in stores as early as March.

Lindsay Lohan owes almost $94K in back taxes, sued by paparazzo

Lindsay Lohan is in legal trouble again.

The 25-year-old actress owes the federal government almost $94,000 in unpaid taxes, the Associated Press reported, adding that a lien seeking payment for the 2009 tax year was recently filed. Earlier this week, a celebrity photographer sued the actress, saying he was injured when her driver hit him with his vehicle as he tried to take pictures of Lohan in Hollywood in 2010.

Lohan, a favorite target of the paparazzi, has not addressed the matter publicly and her spokesperson declined comment about her finances. She has often slammed the paparazzi on her Twitter page for following her around.

Lohan has been on probation since she was convicted of drunken driving and cocaine possession in 2007. She has completed five jail stints, the most recent in November, and still has to complete community service hours as part of a sentence handed down in a jewelry theft case.

Reports about celebrities owing unpaid taxes to the Internal Revenue Service are common around this time of year, ahead of the April deadline for filing annual tax returns. Many stars often hire accountants and money managers to handle their finances.

Stars such as Christie Brinkley and Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne were among the stars who made headlines due to their tax liens last year.

LINDSAY LOHAN TO PLAY ELIZABETH TAYLOR?

Lohan has been trying to resurrect her acting career, which has stalled amid her legal woes. The actress is in "early talks" to play Elizabeth Taylor in the Lifetime television movie "Elizabeth & Richard: A Love Story," which is about the relationship between the late Hollywood icon and Richard Burton, her fifth husband, Deadline.com said.

A source close to the matter confirmed to OnTheRedCarpet.com that early discussions about the matter have been carried out. No air date has been set for the film and no other actors have been named as potential cast members.

Taylor, who died at age 79 last March, wed eight times and was divorced at the time of her death. She and Burton married and divorced twice.

Lohan recently channeled another Hollywood icon - Marilyn Monroe - in a nude photo shoot for Playboy magazine. She appears on the cover of its January/February 2012 issue, which founder Hugh Hefner said was breaking sales records.

The actress and Playboy have not commented about reports that said she was paid up to $1 million for the shoot, carried out just before she received a glowing probation report in December. (See a video of her in court)

Lohan, who rose to fame with hit movies such as "Mean Girls" in 2004 and "The Parent Trap" in 1998, has not appeared in many on-screen projects since her legal troubles began.

Over the past four years, she has been bombarded with attorney bills, court fees and thousands of dollars worth of court-mandated rehab sessions. Her jail bonds have reached the range of $200,000. In October 2011, she was sued by a limo company, which claimed she owed more than $90,000 for services it said it provided her and acquired interest.

In 2008, Lohan managed to generate income from a four-episode guest stint on the ABC show "Ugly Betty." She filmed the TV movie "Labor Pains," which aired on ABC Family, and a year later, shot a small part for the film "Machete."

Lenox Hill Beyoncé complaints deemed not credible

Web produced by Jennifer Matarese, Eyewitness NewsNEW YORK (WABC) -- Two complaints were filed accusing Lenox Hill Hospital of not treating other patients properly during Beyonce's stay to deliver her baby, but the Health Department says they were deemed "not credible".

A Health Department source says that two complaints were reviewed and both were deemed not credible. There are no open investigations at this time.

Less than 24 hours after Beyonce gave birth Saturday night, other new parents were speaking out, angry with Lenox Hill Hospital regarding their stay at the facility.

Spokesperson, Michael Moran, confirms they had received two complaints and that the hospital is fully cooperating.

One was made anonymously, and the other was from someone who had learned about the matter through the media, he said. Officials would be looking into whether any regulations were violated, he said.

Rozz and Neil Nash Caulon told Eyewitness News they were restricted from entering and exiting the neonatal intensive care unit, where their twin girls were and how relatives were not permitted to stay in the waiting room on the sixth floor, the same place where Beyonce gave birth to her little girl.

Lenox Hill has all along maintained they were, at all times, in control of the private security and never prevented or delayed other families from gaining access to the NICU.

The hospital admits cameras were covered, but only when only when a security guard was present on the floor.

Amber Rose: I feel bad for calling Kim Kardashian a homewrecker

Amber Rose says she feels bad for calling Kim Kardashian a "homewrecker" in a tabloid interview, in which she also said the reality star was one of the "main reasons" for her breakup with hip hop star Kanye West.

Rose, a 28-year-old model, made her latest comments in an interview on the New York radio station Power 105.1 FM on Wednesday, January 11, a day after the release of her debut single, "Fame," which features her current boyfriend, Wiz Khalifa (Listen to it here on his website - warning: post contains explicit language).

"Both of our feelings were very hurt over the situation," Rose said. "I just felt bad, because I'm not the type of person to hurt anyone's feelings, even if they hurt mine first. I feel bad for calling her a homewrecker, even though what happened in the situation. I'm all about women empowerment and I feel like I stooped down to her level by calling her a homewrecker. I didn't want to do that."

Rose and West dated on and off between 2008 and 2010. Karadashian had a high-profile relationship with NFL player Reggie Bush between 2007 and 2009. Rose recently told Star magazine that she thinks the reality star had an affair with West she was still dating Bush, saying: "Kim is one of the main reasons why me and Kanye are not together. She's a homewrecker!"

Kardashian and West were linked together in gossip reports by outlets such as People magazine as early as 2008 but never confirmed a relationship.

After the Star magazine article on Rose was published, Kardashian appeared to address the controversy on Twitter, writing a cryptic message that said: "Remember, people only rain on your parade because they're jealous of your sun & tired of their shade."

Rose also said in her interview on Power 105.1 FM that after she and West split, people harassed her in public, adding: "People throw stuff at you in the street, like 'You cheated on Kanye - you're a gold digger!' I don't deserve that. I don't deserve that as a woman, I don't deserve that as a human being as somebody that did actually really love him at the time."

Rose also said that she is currently "so in love" with Khalifa. She is also looking forward to kick-starting her music career.

"I brought my music to Wiz and he was just like, 'Babe, you can do this, you can really, really do this,'" she said. "I asked him and I was like, 'Listen, if I suck, don't tell me that I'm good because you love me.'"

In addition to "Fame," the model said she has several more songs in the works.

"It's a lot of, like, dance music. I'm working with a few different guys. No one, like, really, really big right now. But I've been getting a lot of phone calls by a lot of great producers who want to work with me."

Last year, Kardashian released her first single - also a dance track. The song, "Jam," was not a commercial success.

Gina Carano ready to 'hurt anybody' for 'Haywire' co-stars, talks kiss with Michael Fassbender

Gina Carano to 'hurt anybody' for co-starsGina Carano talks Michael Fassbender kissGina Carano talks Michael Douglas complimentGina Carano compares acting to fighting

Gina Carano, a retired mixed martial arts fighter, is ready to "hurt anybody" for her fellow cast members of the new movie "Haywire," which stars Michael Fassbender, Michael Douglas, Antonio Banderas, Ewan McGregor, Channing Tatum and Bill Paxton.

This is the second and biggest film for Carano, a 29-year-old Texas native, who also appeared on the reboot of the show "American Gladiators. In "Haywire," a thriller directed by Steven Soderbergh, she plays Mallory Kane, a freelance covert operative who is betrayed by a person who works for her agency and seeks revenge, while assassins are sent to kill her.

McGregor plays Kane's point man. Fassbender portrays an operative who accompanies Kane on a mission. Tatum also plays an agent. Paxton, formerly of "Big Love" fame," plays her father, while Douglas and Banderas play her bosses.

"I would hurt anybody for them because they are amazing and some of the most beautiful people I've ever met," Carano told OnTheRedCarpet.com co-host Chris Balish at the recent Los Angeles premiere of "Haywire," which hits theaters on January 20.

The movie also sees the actress sharing an intimate scene with Fassbender, who is becoming one of Hollywood's biggest rising stars following his roles in "Inglorious Basterds" and "X-Men: First Class,".

"I was nervous because I had a kiss scene with Michael Fassbender," Carano said. "It was just a peck but to me, I mean, I was shaking probably as bad as I am right now."

Douglas, she said, paid her a memorable compliment.

"The day we were filming, it was the most freezing day ever and there was a tear coming down my face and I wasn't about to mess that up so after that scene got done, he paid me a compliment and he said, 'That was really good self-control,'" Carano said. "I'll never forget those words."

The actress began her acting career about six years ago, appearing as herself, then a Muay Thai Fighter, in the 2005 cult film "Ring Girls." She later played "Crush" in "American Gladiators," a 2008 reboot of a 1990s fighting competition series. Carano also starred in the 2009 film "Blood and Bone."

Carano last fought in an MMA match in 2009. She told OnTheRedCarpet.com that both acting and fighting "give me the same adrenaline rush that I seem to crave."

Reporting by Chris Balish, co-host of KABC Television's entertainment show "On The Red Carpet" (check for local TV listings).

Check out the trailer for "Haywire."
