Jake Gyllenhaal might regret taking on Bear Grylls' offer to join him on a trek to Iceland.
Though the 30-year-old got to experience the adventure of crawling across a rope stretched between two mountain tops and crossing an ice-cold river shirtless, the actor also had to dine on whatever cuisine the two could find.
A Discovery Channel statement said of the episode back in June, "Jake will have to go where Bear goes, eat whatever Bear eats, and on occasion even take the lead, if he's going to cope with some of the worst conditions known to man."
Gyllenhaal's episode on "Man Vs. Wild" aired on Monday and the actor was seen eating a worm for nutrition. Originally the two had found a dead sheep, which Grylls made Gyllenhaal gut to break up into parts. However, when one of the animal's legs fell off as Gyllenhaal lifted the carcass, Grylls determined the meat was no good.
During the clip, which can be seen below, the actor admits it was the first worm he's ever eaten.
