NEW YORK (WABC) -- So...what were the 10 best movies 2011?

The so-called best films are often released towards the end of the year, when they can remain fresh in the minds of Oscar voters.

But entertainment reporter Sandy Kenyon thought back to consider all of the movies released this year.

His list counts down to his favorite, starting at number 10, with a movie the entire family can enjoy together.

Here's his list:

9. 50/50
8. Super 8
7. Bridesmaids
6. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
5. Moneyball
4. Midnight in Paris
3. The Help
2. The Artist
